When do my transactions "batch"?
MyMobileMoney is programmed to batch your payment processing transactions daily at 12:00a.m. CST.
When will processed funds be available in my bank account?
We support a standard 48-hour funding for all batches closed by 12 Midnight CST. NCR's MyMobileMoney is already programmed to batch at midnight CST so you don't have to worry about that – simple!
Can I have multiple access levels within the app?
Within MyMobileMoney, you can set up multiple Attendants (Users), however all users have the same level of permissions.
Will a cellular connection work?
Yes. Whether you use WiFi or cellular data, the main consideration is that your device that is running the app has internet connectivity for the payment to be processed.
What is the battery life of the supported devices?
Though battery life depends on individual usage, the devices can be used to process many transactions on a single charge.
Chipper BT: For one full charge, more than 420 EMV transactions, or more than 700 magnetic card swipe transactions can be done.
Chipper 2xBT: For one full charge, more than 800 EMV transactions, or more than 5000 magnetic card swipe transactions, or more than 1000 EMV contactless transactions can be done.
Can my delivery driver take payment?
Yes, as long as the device running the app has internet connectivity such as cellular data connection.
Do I have to change the processor I currently use in my business?
MyMobileMoney is designed to leverage NCR Payment Solutions only. In this way, NCR can manage the security from end-to-end in the processing transaction.
Is the cost of the hardware monthly?
You can pay a one-time fee + tax and shipping or pay monthly. See the pricing information below.

Am I under a contract? Can I cancel at anytime? No fees?
NCR MyMobileMoney has no long term contracts. Once you pay for your device, you only pay the costs associated with processing payments. That means you can use it every day as part of your payments strategy or put it in a drawer between food festivals without incurring huge monthly maintenance costs.
Do I need to integrate this solution into my current point of sale?
NCR MyMobileMoney is a stand-alone solution that is non-integrated. So, no matter what point of sale solution you have today, you can also use NCR MyMobileMoney.
Do I have to have an NCR point of sale to use this solution?
No. Because NCR MyMobileMoney is non-integrated and stand alone, you can use it whether you have an NCR point of sale system or not (but we hope you do).
Can you edit a transaction same day if employee realizes they made an error?
As with many payment solutions, if the transaction has been processed, you will want to void that transaction and re-process.
In what situations would this solution be useful?
NCR MyMobileMoney is a great solution any time you need to take payments away from your brick-and-mortar location or for those who do business "on the road" such as farmer's markets, curbside delivery, mobile delivery, festivals, food trucks, pop up events and more.
Will it take mobile wallets in the future (Google pay, ApplePay, etc)?
Yes. Accommodating mobile wallets is on the product roadmap for NCR MyMobileMoney as are various other enhancements to help you make simple possible today and tomorrow.
Will this solution go away after the Covid-19 pandemic is resolved?
No. Though NCR MyMobileMoney is a great solution to help you navigate your Covid-19 response needs, this payment solution is great for so many other uses.
