Languages in NVL
The application initially applies the language set in the browser. However, you can change the language within the application to your preferred language. Your language preference is saved in the browser, and the selected language is retained for future logins.
Note: The current available languages in the application are English (United States), French (Canada), and Spanish (United states). If the browser is set to a language different from the available options, the application defaults to English (United States).
Switching between languages
When you log in to the NVL application, a language icon appears in the top right corner. Click on the icon to see the following pop-up:
Click on the Locale drop-down and select the desired language.
Click Save. The settings will be saved, and the chosen language will be applied to all UI components across the modules.
or
Click Cancel to dismiss the pop-up.
Change in date format
When the language is changed, the date format automatically updates to match the locale settings.
For example, the date format for French (Canadian) follows YYYY/MM/DD, while English (United States) and Spanish (United States) use MM/DD/YYYY.
