Languages in NVL
The application initially applies the language set in the browser. However, you can change the language within the application to your preferred language. Your language preference is saved in the browser, and the selected language is retained for future logins.
Note: The current available languages in the application are English (United States), French (Canada), and Spanish (United states). If the browser is set to a language different from the available options, the application defaults to English (United States).
Switch between languages
When you log in to the NVL application, a language icon appears in the top right corner. Click the icon to see the following pop-up:

Click the Locale drop-down and select the language.

Click Save. The settings will be saved, and the selected language will apply to all UI components across the modules.
or
Click Cancel to dismiss the pop-up.
Locale-based changes to date and decimal formats
When you change the language, the date format and decimal separators automatically update to match the locale.
For example:
- The date format for French (Canadian) follows YYYY/MM/DD, while English (United States) uses MM/DD/YYYY, and Spanish (United States) uses DD/MM/YYYY.
- The decimal separator for French is ',', while English (United States) and Spanish (United States) use '.'.
