Working with emails
Consumer Marketing allows you to send emails to customers! You are able to create email lists, target customers within those emails lists based on segments you create, and view reporting for emails.
Scheduled Email vs. Campaign Email
You can send two types of emails: Scheduled and Campaign.

Scheduled emails are scheduled for a specific date and timeframe. This is a great way to send out weekly newsletters or any time-sensitive communications.
Campaign emails are automatically triggered by a certain customer action, such as a purchase or other customer-initiated action. These customer actions trigger a campaign rule to be activated, and this campaign rule can also be set to send customers a specific campaign email. An example of a campaign email would be: setting up the Loyalty Enrollment Reward campaign and having a “Welcome to Our Loyalty Club” email that gets automatically sent when a customer signs up for the loyalty program.
