Priority Exclusions
During the transaction, the system evaluates eligible promotions, applying a high-priority promotion first and stacking other (low-level) promotions on top of the applied one.
Promotion Priority Grid

On the left navigation panel, expand Admin and click Priority Exclusions. The following screen appears:
The Promotion Priority Grid displays the existing priority setup established by the retail organization.

The Promotion Priority Grid has Edit Priority Grid, Export, Priority Number, Name, Associations, Search bar, and a Pencil icon to edit the priority.
- Priority: A numerical value is assigned to indicate priority levels. A value of 1 represents the highest priority, whereas a value of 15 denotes the lowest priority.
- Name: Name of the priority.
- Associations: Promotions that are assigned the priority.
- Pencil Icon: To modify the priority as needed.
- Click Export to download and view the priorities. The file downloads in JSON format by default. You can open it using Notepad or any other text editor of your choice.

From the search bar, search for a name or priority value in order to view or modify the priority.

Expand the priority to view the Stackable Priorities, Excluded Priorities, and System Level Priority.
Add Priority
A new priority is established in accordance with the existing priority determined by the selected priority level.

Click on the
icon. The following screen appears:

Click on Add Priority to open the New Priority screen:
Note: When adding a new priority, ensure that it should not duplicate the name or number of any existing priorities.

Enter the New Priority Name.

Select the Priority level and Existing Priority from the drop-down menu.

If you choose 'Higher Priority', the new priority takes precedence over the existing priority.

Selecting 'Lower Priority' will assign the new priority to be next in line after the current priority.
Note: The New Priority Number is auto-assigned by the system.

Toggling the new priority to System Level Priority will prevent the priority from being deleted.

Click Next.
Stackable & Excluded
On this page, exclude the stackable priorities that are not necessary.

Select the priorities you want to exclude from the Stackable Priorities and click the > icon.

To move any of the Excluded Priorities back to the stackable priorities, simply select the desired priority and click the < icon.
Click Discard to dismiss any changes made to the priority.
Click Back to move to the Details screen.

Click Save and then Save Changes. The new priority is added to the Promotion Priority Grid with the following message:
Edit Priority
Once a new priority is added, the Priority Number cannot be modified.

Search for the priority in the Promotion Priority Grid and then click on the Pencil Icon. A sample screen will appear as shown below:

You can modify the Priority Name, System Level Priority, or Stackable and Excluded priorities and then Save. A message Successfully updated priority is displayed.
To dismiss any changes made to the priority, click Discard.
Delete Priority
Priorities that do not fall within the system-level priorities can be deleted.

Click on the Edit Priority Grid to view all the custom-added and system-level priorities.

To remove any custom-added priorities that are not associated to the promotions, simply click the Delete icon and then Save Changes.
Custom-added priorities that are linked to promotions cannot be deleted.
When you try to delete system-level priorities, the following message will be displayed:
Associate priority
For any promotion, go to the Options tab and select the priority from the Promotion Priority dropdown.
