Notifications
When a user adds an item, edits an item's attributes, or overrides a price, those changes are specific to that store and the action triggers notifications. The ERP can also trigger alerts by sending new prices and details that modify those store-level changes.
📝 A specific store can only have one notification for a given item, but only the first change will prompt a notification (i.e. the first change to an item is displayed in notifications for an item that has been modified several times).
For example: A store associate overrides the price of an item first thing in the morning. Any other actions made on that item, such as editing the item's attributes, do not trigger further notifications.
Notifications are indicated in the top right corner of the screen on the dashboard. The number of unread messages will appear in a bubble on the bell icon. Alerts will appear for 14 days from time of creation.
-
From the home screen, tap the bell icon to display alerts.
-
The notification drawer will open, and you can view the messages. Any that have not yet been viewed will display a "New" message.
-
Alerts that have already been viewed will be pushed down in the list, while any new messages will appear at the top of the list.
-
You can dismiss an alert at any time by tapping the
X
button next to the message. -
Use the
Close
button at the top right of the notification drawer to collapse the drawer.📝 This does not dismiss any notifications, and you can always bring the view back into focus by clicking the bell icon.
