All Promotions
The promotions module is used to curate benefits to the consumers performing a transaction with the retailer. These consumers may or may not be a part of consumer segments (Ex: All Card holders, Pet enthusiasts (segments)) defined by the retailer. The All Promotions screen offer details about the current promotions available in the system and allows you to create and manage them effectively.
To access them, expand the Promotions section on the left navigation panel, and then click on All Promotions. The following screen appears:
The All Promotions screen displays Promotion Name, Start Date, End Date, Last Updated, Last Updated By, Status, Ellipsis, Filters, and Coloums.
- Promotion Name: The title of the promotion.
- Start Date: The date when the promotion becomes active.
- End Date: The date on which the promotion concludes.
- Last Updated: The date when the promotion is modified.
- Last Updated By: The user ID of an individual who modified the promotion.
- Status: Indicates the current state of the promotion.
- Ellipsis: To edit, delete, copy, and update the status of the promotion.
- Filters: To filter promotions by Name and Status.
- Columns: To adjust the column width and manage columns.
By default, the All Promotions page displays 10 promotions on the screen. However, you can view up to 25 or 50 promotions based on the selection from the Rows per page dropdown located at the bottom of the screen.
Hover over any promotion column header to find the Down Arrow. Click on the Down Arrow to sort promotions in descending order, and click again to sort them in ascending order.
Click on the Ellipsis next to the Down Arrow to manage Coloumns, Filters, and Sort promotions.
Click the icon to search for promotions. Click the
icon to customize, reorder, or adjust the columns. Click here to learn more.
The search results will appear as follows:
From the search results, click on the Promotion Name to view the Promotion Summary.
Promotion Summary
The summary page provides a concise overview of the details configured in each section during the promotion creation process. It also includes an edit option, allowing users to quickly modify specific sections as needed.
You can also copy the promotion and update its status using the Options button in the top right corner.
Additionally, you can view the summary of consumer segments, product groups, and stores associated with the promotion via quick links available in the Promotion Summary page.
Promotion Status
The current state of promotions is identified by their status, which includes:
- Active: Indicates that the promotion is currently active and available for use.
- Inactive: Indicates that the promotion is not currently active, although it has not yet expired.
- Scheduled: Indicates that the promotion is set to begin at a predetermined time.
- Expired: Indicates that the promotion is expired and no longer usable unless you copy it.
- Testing: Indicates that the promotion is being tested in a trial location before its launch.
Manage Promotion Status
To update the status of the promotion, tap on Ellipsis and then select Set as (status).
Key Actions:

Promotions with a status of 'Active', 'Scheduled', or 'Testing' can be updated to 'Inactive'.

Promotions with an 'Expired' status can be duplicated to create a new promotion.

Promotions with an 'Inactive' status can be updated to 'Active'.
To create a promotion, click Create Promotion located at the top right corner.
To modify an existing promotion, click on the promotion name and edit any specific section from the promotion summary, or tap on the ellipsis and select Edit Promotion. Click here to learn more.
