Data retention
Data retention refers to the practice of storing and maintaining data for a specific period. This includes determining the duration for which data is preserved and can be accessed for future use.

On the left navigation panel, expand Admin and click Configuration Settings. The following screen will appear:

Click Data Retention to view the retention configurations.

Expand Retention Periods to see a list of all available data retention configurations.

The default retention period for expired promotions and loyalty transactions is set to 400 days.

To modify any of the retention periods, enter the desired number of days in the Delete after field and then click Save Changes. The following popup will appear:
The data retention period can range from a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 9999 days. The field must not be left blank, and '0' days is not a valid entry.

Click Save. A message 'Successfully saved changes to Data Retention' will be displayed on the Data Retention Configurations screen.

If you navigate back to the configuration settings or switch to another module while adjusting the retention period, the following popup will be displayed:
Click Cancel to remain on the current screen, or Discard to dismiss the changes.
