Trigger code rewards are generated unique coupons that customers receive when their transaction meets a set condition. These coupons are then added to a specified trackable coupon program. Retailers can create multiple trigger code rewards within a single offer.

Navigate to the Actions & Rewards tab, click on the Reward Type dropdown, and select 'Trigger Code' from the Coupon Reward.

• Choose the type of bar code tag that you want to print on the receipt from the Print Type dropdown. You can select from the following options:

  

  • Plain Text: Prints alphanumeric characters that are limited to 12.
  • UPCA: Prints an 11 digit UPC–A bar code. Do not include check digits.
  • EAN13: Prints a 12 digit EAN13 bar code. Do not include check digits.
  • CODE128: Prints a Code 128 bar code. Limited to 48 characters.

• After selecting the Print Type, enter the code in Trigger Code field.

• To define a coupon template for printing on receipt messages, click on + Add Coupon Template. If you want to discard the template, click on - Remove Coupon Template.

  

• Click Save to configure the Trigger Code reward.
