With Kitchen selected in the product panel, select Maintenance > Kitchen Configuration > Language to access the Language function. The Language function does not allow you to arbitrarily create and edit your own languages; however, you can add or delete pre-defined languages. You must create a separate language translation text file for Aloha Kitchen to read.

Language tab

Use the Language tab to define attributes for the language. The options in the 'Settings' group bar populate in accordance to the languages you elect to use at your store. Once you select a language, you cannot edit the options on the tab.

Group Bar: Settings

Name — Identifies the language. We recommend you use a name that is descriptive of the language. This is a read-only field.

Native name — Displays the name of the selected language in its native text. This is a read-only field.

Abbreviation — Displays the standard identification for the selected language. This is a read-only field.
