Routing Rulebook
With Kitchen selected in the product panel, select Maintenance > Kitchen Configuration > Routing Rulebook to access the Routing Rulebook function. Use the Routing Rulebook function to configure conditions and kitchen station destinations for your routing methods.
Settings tab
Group Bar: Settings
Name — Identifies the routing rulebook, up to 40 characters.
Group Bar: Modifiers
Use the 'Modifiers' group bar to define how regular and independent modifiers behave when they are followed by their parent item.
Regular modifiers always follow parent item — Enables all modifier items to inherit the routing of their parent item.
Independent modifiers always follow parent item — Enables all independent modifiers to inherit the routing of their parent item.
Rules tab
Use the Rules tab to configure the conditions and screen routing for a rule.
Group Bar: Rules
Rule — Specifies the sentence-formatted rule for your rulebook, after you define the condition and destination of the rule.

Group Bar: Routing Conditions
Condition — Specifies the condition under which to enforce the rule. When you add a condition, additional options appear that are specific to the selected condition.
Not — Indicates this condition is using a false behavior when added to the rule.
Group Bar: Video Group Condition
Video group Specifies the video group.

Group Bar: Route To Stations
Workflow step — Specifies the order of a workflow step to route to a station. Once bumped from the station, the item appears at the next station until the item is bumped for all stations.
Note: Expo stations can only be used at the start or the end of a workflow.
Kitchen Station — Specifies the destination to where items are routed.

Group Bar: Load balancing
Grid — Specifies the grid to use for load balancing. Required Options: You must access the Load Balancing function and configure load balancing to use this option.
Row — Specifies the row to use for load balancing. Required Options: You must access the Load Balancing function and configure load balancing to use this option.
