Club Member (TS only)
Select Maintenance > Club Membership > Club Member to access this function.
Use the Club Member function to define customer information and set specific parameters, such as charging privileges, reciprocal clubs, and more. The membership database contains important information about each club member, such as the date the membership began, and the family members authorized to charge. It also determines if the customer is on credit hold, and if they belong to the liquor pool.
Club Member tab
Use the Club Member tab to easily determine the number and name used to uniquely identify the record. Valid entries are from 1-999999. Note: This is not the membership number.
Group Bar: Settings

Last name — Identifies the person’s last name. Type a maximum of 30 characters.

Anniversary date — Indicates the membership anniversary date, in a mm/dd/yyyy format.
Date joined — Indicates the date the customer officially became a club member in, a mm/dd/yyyy format.
Expiration date — Indicates the date, in a mm/dd/yyyy format, when the membership card expires and becomes invalid. Related Options: This option works in conjunction with ‘Verify expiration date’ located in Maintenance > Business > Store > Store Settings tab > Order Entry group under the ‘Club Members’ group bar.
Club unit number — Identifies the club or company for which to apply payments. Type a maximum of three digits. You must use the unit number of the club when pulling over Import.dat.
Membership type — Identifies a two-digit ID code for the membership that is determined by the club, not by the Aloha POS system. Some sample membership types are Honorary, Standard, Golf, Tennis, Dining, and Business. Type a maximum of two characters.
Membership number — Indicates the actual membership number with a maximum of ten alpha or numeric characters supporting many different numbering conventions. Magnetic (MAG) stripe readers only support numbers up to five digits. If a reciprocal club, type the club number.

Description — Provides a long description of the membership type, such as social or lifetime. Type a maximum of 20 characters.
Liquor pool — Restricts alcoholic sales to members of a liquor pool. Local alcoholic beverage commission guidelines for serving alcohol determine whether a liquor pool applies at each restaurant. The FOH prompts the server to verify customer eligibility to purchase alcohol.
Reciprocal — Indicates the guest is a member of a neighboring club. The server receives a prompt in the FOH to enter the membership number for the reciprocal club. You must set up all reciprocal clubs with a membership number, usually the club number.
Tax exempt — Prevents sales tax from being applied to the guest check. The tax exempt number is assumed to be the member number.
Hold reason — Indicates the reason the customer charging privileges are on hold, such as the account is on credit hold, the membership expired, or the customer is not found in the membership database.
