Store > Store Settings tab> Gold Points group (TS only)
Select Maintenance > Business > Store to access the Store function. The Store function enables you to configure default system settings for your store. The system automatically creates a store record during the system installation/import process and the function separates options in this record into groups, based on the area of the Aloha POS system affected by your selections. Select the Gold Points group located at the bottom of the screen.
Gold Points group
Use the options in the Gold Points group to define how to issue points at a store for the Gold Points award program. Using this program, you issue customers a program card with which they can earn points, based on the amount of sales they generate each time they frequent the restaurant and purchase qualifying items. When a customer has a positive point balance on their card, they can redeem their points for various rewards, such as dining and merchandise certificates, as well as specific menu items.
Required Options: 1) You must access Maintenance > Business > Additional Features (Corporate Administration) > Corporate Owner tab and select ‘Display Aloha TableService settings’ and clear ‘Display Aloha Loyalty’ under the ‘Options to display’ group bar to expose the ‘Display gold points’ option. 2) You must select ‘Display gold points’ to enable the Gold Points group here in Maintenance > Business > Store > Store Settings tab.

Qualifying category of items that count towards point accumulation — Indicates the item category to include in qualifying sales. When a customer purchases items from this category, they will accumulate reward points.
Conditional category of items that count if a qualifying item is also on the check — Indicates the item category to include in qualifying sales, only if there are items present on the guest check from the qualifying category. For example, let’s say you selected the Food category as your qualifying category. If you elect to include alcoholic beverages as a conditional category, the beverages only count towards point accumulation if the guest also purchases items from the Food category. If the guest check includes alcoholic beverages only, the beverages would not count towards point accumulation.
